Stretch to save injury
Let's talk about stretching!
Did you know that it is ideal to stretch before and after working out. What does stretching do? It lengthens the muscle thus allowing fuller movement and decreasing injuries and cramps.
Think about it!! If a muscle is dormant and now you slap it into action..it's like shocking the muscle leading to injury.
Here's a few other tidbit of information: in order for your muscle to increase range of motion you must at minimal stretch 3 times a week 3 times a day for 1 month before you have more AROM ( active range of motion).
