Unweighting your arms and neck!
Just how do you get in a comfortable position?
When your upper neck- to mid to lower spine/ called Trapezious muscle just plain hurts you want relief.
Their is an easy technique to do.
Take 2 pillows, one under each arm and rest your elbows on them. While your sitting you can add an ice pack/ heat. Do this if driving, watching TV, or at computer. Its a beautiful way to unweight the arms from pulling and straining that area!

But in case you dont know....releasing tightness, increasing blood flow, increasing oxygen to your cells, releases endorphins, increases testosterone, and inhibits the amount of cortisol being pumped out!
Ultimately returning you to a better you!
( cortisol is released from pancreas and it shouldn't be released often/ continuously)
